ABSOLUTES - A NOVEL

ABOUT THE BOOK: William Shakespeare Dalton is a fundamentalist Christian whose calling is to defend the innocent by murdering doctors that perform abortions. Now serving time for murder in an innovative prison located in Canada, he is given a second chance at freedom. He must first, however, agree to undertake various biological experiments and complete an assassination mission for the United States government. While acquiescing to become a human guinea-pig, he secretly devises his own escape in order to complete the sacred mission he feels God has called him to finish.
Now on the run, William connects with a burned-out minister, Chris, who leads the two of them into Mexico and imminent danger to save the life of a kidnapped nurse. Along the way, William discovers a deeper side of God, faith and the meaning of death and resurrection. A story of two spiritual journeys to find redemption, Absolutes will entertain, provoke, cause the reader to contemplate and keep turning each page in anticipation. It will appeal to fans of Tom Clancy, Michael Crichton, Robert Ludlum and John Grisham.

THE PRAYERS OF A MAN WE CALLED MISTER - A NOVELETTE OR ONE PERSON PLAY

ABOUT THE NOVELETTE: This little novelette could also be produced as a one person play. It is formatted to look and read like one of the Gospels and is intentionally written to present the Gospel of Mark in a new way of seeing it. Basically, it is about a stranger with remarkable charisma, whom people just called Mister, and who can't seem to pray the way people want him or expect him to pray. His prayers are so different and so transforming from any prayer that has been prayed before. These prayers lead to his demise at the hands of a crowd.
